Argo Acres
Our farm stand is located 6 miles east of Thomson on the Argo Fay Route and is opens daily in July with the start of green beans, sweet corn, and tomatoes and remains open through November with apples, pumpkins, squash, gourds, and Indian corn. We also offer popcorn, red raspberries, and painted pumpkins. Look for our signs and follow us on FB.
We grow an assortment of fruits and vegetables that we sell at our farm stand and the Lyons Farmers Market in Clinton, Iowa. In April, May, and June, we have asparagus, rhubarb, and strawberries, plus early-season greens and vegetables available by pre-order or by chance at our roadside stand.
Fairhaven Fruit Farm
We're a family-owned apple orchard located at the corner of Fairhaven and Creamery Roads, four miles east of Thomson, Illinois. The orchard has 600 fruit trees with 30 different varieties of apples. Come taste the latest varieties of apples, from McIntosh to Honeycrisp.
We also offer honey made by our own bees, a pumpkin patch, a sunflower field, and an orchard haunt!
HOURS
Hours of operation through October are Thursday through Saturday from 11 to 5 pm, and Sundays from 11 to 4. Check out our FB page for the latest updates and special events!
