Mt. Carroll Pumpkin Fest
The Mt. Carroll Chamber is proud to present the 8th Annual Pumpkin Fest. Activities include the Zombie Zoom 5k Walk/Run, Kids and Critters Costume Parade, Halloween Storytime, Crafts at the library, Decorate-a-pumpkin, pumpkin cousin mini gourd decorating and races, pumpkin slingshot, ping pong ball drop, Paranormal Tours and the Kunes Country Great Pumpkin Street Drags where real pumpkins mounted on wheels race for cash prizes. 8:00 am - Farmer's Market opens
10 am - Professor B3 Bubble Master
10 am - 2pm - Pumpkin Bowling on the street in front of Mt Carroll Bowling Center
10 am – Touch-A-Truck in the parking lot on lower N Main Street. Bring your kids so they can get up close with Mt Carroll Service Vehicles such as an ambulance, fire truck, a city dump truck and a snow plow
10 am – 4 pm Fire Dept. Water Fights at the old burning grounds
10:30 am - Kids & Critters Costume Parade kicks off at the corner of Market & Main and ends at the Library where they can participate in a Halloween Story & Craft Time. For ages Pre-S - 4th grade.
10:30 am - Decorate a Pumpkin Table staffed by Methodist Youth Group
10:30 am - Mini Pumpkin Gourd Decorating & Races (ages pre-school - 6th grade)
11:00 am – Paranormal Ghost Tours thru one of our downtown buildings by 2 A.M. Paranormal
11:00 am – Pumpkin Sling Shot Range opens at the east end of old burning grounds.
1:30 pm – Ping Pong Ball Drop on Main Street
2:00 pm - Kunes Country Great Pumpkin Street Drag Races (registration starts at 12:30 pm)
4:30 pm - Zombie Zoom 5K Walk/Run begins and ends at the corner of Market & Carroll
All activities take place in downtown Mt Carroll!
