Come explore the magical castle, tour the rooms filled with exquisite decor, learn about the history and legacy of how it came to be. Havencrest Castle, located at 140 N 5th St. in Savanna, welcomes you to experience where their fairytale story took place. Open on select dates in September and October 2020

Havencrest Castle, located at 140 N 5th St. in Savanna, welcomes you to their realm of romance by offering limited public tours on select dates September through October. The self-guided tour includes an optional audio program that you can dial up on your smartphone (iPhone and Android).

Explore this romantic dream of history and art and experience the love story as you see 26 rooms on 2 floors. Self-guided so you choose your own pace which includes an audio program that you can dial up on your personal cell phone.

Don't miss the 9 elaborate gowns worn by Adrianne St George which will be on exhibit throughout the home. Adrianne spent many hours making the hair ornaments and Nancy H. Willis sewed the dress.

NEW THIS YEARA completed a new room which you will enter from the ballroom called the "Memorial Hall." It contains all of our full-sized historically accurate replicas of RMS Titanic sculptures, and will also be the final resting place for the St. Georges in the future. This neoclassical room rises to a grand height of 20 feet, and like many rooms in the home, it is imbued with much personal meaning.

Promenade AmoureauxView it on your way to exiting out through the new "Promenade Amoureaux" (Romantic Walk). Our landscaper says gardening "is the slowest of the arts," so don't expect to see it finished this season! Still, you can enjoy a stroll past the "Musicians Terrace" and down the winding walkway under centuries-old oak trees before departing our magical hilltop.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, or online. Doors open at 10 AM and close at 5 PM, with the last tours admitted at 4 PM. If you buy your ticket in advance, you can come anytime during the above hours. PLEASE NOTE: there are no elevators and we are not handicap accessible. 

No appointment is necessary. Our parking lot is at the bottom of the hill. Walk up or catch a fun ride on our "CastleMobile." Enjoy your time away from the world of cares.

Admission is $20. Veterans and children under 18 years-old $15  FREE crowns for all children! 

PLEASE NOTE: there are no elevators and we are not handicap accessible. There is a steep incline to get to the house and stairs are involved.
